Export Your Google Takeout Data to CSV

Download your Google Takeout archive and convert it to CSV for powerful analysis, local backup, and seamless integration.

Get Started

Step 1: Download your Google Takeout data

1. Go to Google Takeout and sign in.
2. Click Deselect all, then check only the services you need (e.g., Google Contacts, Calendar, Maps).
3. For each service, click the dropdown ▶ and verify the export format is .json.
4. Scroll down, click Next step, choose your delivery method, frequency, and .zip export.
5. Click Create export. You’ll receive an email when your archive is ready.
6. Download and unzip the archive to reveal your JSON files.

Step 2: Convert JSON to CSV

JSON is ideal for applications, but CSV unlocks the power of spreadsheets. Open your data in Excel, Sheets, or any BI tool for filtering, sorting, and charting.

  1. Open our JSON to CSV Converter
  2. Click Choose File and select one or more JSON files from your Takeout archive.
  3. Click Convert to CSV. Instantly receive a CSV file per JSON input.
  4. Download and open your CSV files in your spreadsheet application.

Files under 1 MB convert at no cost. For JSON files larger than 1 MB, upgrade to our Pro plan - just $10/month - for larger file size support.
